■ Flame retardant
■ Weather sealing of connection and expansion joints
■ Sealing joints between glazing
■ Flexible at low (-40°C) and high temperatures (+150°C)
■ Almost odorless
■ Matt finish
■ Solvent free, thus presenting low volume
■ Shrinkage during vulcanization
■ Excellent weather resistance
■ Non corrosive to metals
■ Suitable for alkaline substrates such as concrete, mortar and fibrous cement
Monocomponent silicone sealant, neutral curing at room temperature forming a permanently flexible silicone rubber, fire retardant and low modulus, excellent adhesion and sealing.
Sealant for applications in the construction industry and in industrial areas where high flame retardancy of the material is set. Suitable for weather sealing of connection and expansion joints, sealing of perimeter joints, sealing of joints between glazing and frame support (frames, sleepers, mullions etc).

SURFACE PREPARATION
Substrate areas that will be in contact with the sealant must be clean, dry and free from all loose material, dust, dirt, rust, oil and other contaminants. Non-porous substrates should be cleaned with a solvent and a clean, lint-free cotton cloth. Remove residual solvent before it evaporates with a clean, dry cloth. For substrate applications other than those mentioned above, it is recommended to perform a test to evaluate the adhesion and compatibility of the sealant with the material.
HOW TO USE:
The joint shall be filled with rock wool as a backing material of at least d2 = 120mm. The silicone gasket must have a width of at least w = 15mm and a depth of d1 = 8mm. Cut the applicator nozzle at a 45° angle to the desired size and thickness. Apply sealant to the area and immediately finish with a spatula. After spatulation, remove the masking tape. We recommend cleaning the tools before curing the product, as after curing the sealant is only removed mechanically.
SAFETY NOTES
During vulcanization, methanol and ethanol are released. These vapors should not be inhaled for long periods or in high concentration. Therefore, good workplace ventilation is required.
If uncured silicone rubber comes into contact with the eyes or mucous membranes, the affected area should be rinsed thoroughly with water, otherwise irritation will be caused. Cured silicone rubber, however, can be handled without any health risk.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Detailed instructions are provided in the corresponding material safety data sheets.
